Based on prices, I have narrowed my selection of suitable Airlines down to 7 options: Singapore, Thai, Malaysia, Air New Zealand, Royal Brunei, Cathay Pacific, & British Airways. (See Poll on left) ====>Most of these airlines are foreign to me but I have been told that there's nothing wrong with them - which makes my decision that much harder.
So my question to you is:Which airline would you fly with based on - comfort (for a 30+hr flight), unwanted scary meals (grasshopper with a side of raw fish eyeballs), space (I'm claustrophobic & don't wanna have to climb over or have to share half my seat with a fat sweaty person who I'll most definitely get stuck next to), service (how nice they are), and anything else you can think of to weigh up pros & cons of an airline.

Having flown that trip so many times here's my advice:
Space-wise Malaysia has the biggest leg-room. Singapore cabin crew are absolutely beautiful. Royal Brunei don't serve alcohol but you can BYO seemingly. Thai are great but I'm a bit biased cos I flew Business Class with them so can't really judge lol. Cathay are good as well but I haven't flown with them for a while. Haven't flown long-haul with Air NZ.
I would also advise having one night stopover if you can cos I can assure you that 30 hr nonstop flight is an absolute killer and will knock you out for about a week at least.
Hope that gives you some help lol
Also regarding food - most of the asian airlines give you a choice of either a western style meal or their own style. Usually their local food is really nice and quite 'normal' so don't worry about that side of things.
Thanx a bunch Gilly :) That was even more helpful than I'd hoped for lol.
U r oh-so-wise... :)
I aim to please lol
