METEORA

Meteora was absolutely amazing. The scenery was truly one of a kind. The hills were dappled with ancient monasteries and the cliff walls had holes in them from previous monks who resided in them.

There wasn't much to do here but it was still worth the visit. The scenery was great and the monestaries themselves were pretty cool.

Michelle & I opted for the scenic route down the mountain and walked instead of taking the bus. Great exercise.

That night we got a little bit drunk by the pool (the accommodation was also impressive here) and headed into town. I got bored pretty quickly and ventured off back home only an hr or so before the fight broke out.
Basically the locals crashed into one or two of our guys and then basically there was squealing, fighting and our small group fleeing back towards home lol. (Talk about my good timing).

The next morning, Matt was sporting an impressive black eye  :)
